The centre aims to offer expertise on a wide range of topics in optical time-domain astronomy from both theoretical and observational perspectives, within the context of MM astronomy. The centre comprises experts from leading institutes in the fields of time-domain and MM astronomy, spread across various institutions of the Italian National Institute for Astrophysics (INAF) and the National Centre for Nuclear Research (NCBJ). INAF researchers will provide the necessary expertise to enable interested researchers to gain hands-on experience, from preparing observational proposals to reducing and interpreting data for a diverse array of telescopes. Meanwhile, NCBJ researchers will offer expertise in photometric instruments and data processing. This centre will provide dedicated expert support on:

• Observational proposal writing assistance
• Data analysis, classification and interpretation of optical/near-infrared/ultraviolet emitting sources
• Management of databases and computational astrophysics
