I-DUST (Inter-Disciplinary Underground Science and Technology) is a biennial international conference series established in 2005 and supported by the Low Background Noise Underground Laboratory (LSBB) in France. The symposium gathers communities from Earth and environmental sciences, physics, engineering, and related fields to present advances in underground research, stimulate interdisciplinary exchange, and foster new collaborations on global scientific challenges.
The conference welcomes experimental, observational, theoretical, and numerical contributions that take advantage of subsurface environments to explore multi-physical processes and develop innovative measurement and monitoring strategies. It is open to perspectives addressing the societal and historical dimensions associated with major underground infrastructures.
I-DUST further encourages the participation of industrial partners interested in underground facilities as platforms for scientific production, technology qualification, and collaborative innovation.
