The ASI Space Science Data Centre (SSDC) is a research infrastructure managed by the Italian Space Agency (ASI) together with INAF and INFN. SSDC is a modern, multi-mission science data centre providing support to several scientific space missions, dedicated to the observation of the Universe and the exploration of the Solar System, for science operations, scientific data processing, archiving and distribution to the scientific community.
The services offered by the SSDC include:
- i) multi-mission scientific data archiving
- ii) interactive science analysis tools in a multi- frequency environment
- iii) data visualisation and exploration tools
- iv) databases and data mining tools for large scientific datasets
- v) scientific data reduction and analysis software packages
